Returns & Refunds

We make things a little differently at Dry Dreams — and we want to be upfront about that.

All our pieces are made on demand, especially for you. This means we don’t keep stock sitting in warehouses, and each item is produced once an order is placed. It takes a bit longer, but it helps avoid overproduction and unnecessary waste.

Because of this, our returns and refunds work slightly differently from fast-fashion stores.

Damaged, incorrect, or faulty items

If your item arrives damaged, misprinted, or incorrect, we’ve got you covered.

Please contact us within 14 days of delivery and include:

  • your order number
  • a short description of the issue
  • clear photos showing the problem

Once we review it, we’ll make it right — usually by replacing the item or issuing a refund, depending on the situation.

Returns & exchanges for size or preference

Because each piece is made especially for you, we’re unable to accept returns or exchanges due to sizing issues or a change of mind.

We know sizing matters, and we do our best to help you choose correctly:

  • detailed size guides are available on each product page
  • if you’re unsure or between sizes, feel free to reach out before ordering

We’re always happy to help you decide — just note that once an item is made, it can’t be resold or restocked.

Order cancellations

If you need to cancel or change an order, please contact us as soon as possible.

Once production has started, we’re unable to cancel or modify the order. Timing matters here — reach out quickly and we’ll do our best to help.

Shipping issues

If your order appears lost in transit or hasn’t arrived within a reasonable timeframe, please get in touch so we can look into it with the carrier.

A note on responsibility

Dry Dreams is not responsible for:

  • incorrect addresses provided at checkout
  • items damaged after delivery due to wear, misuse, or care issues

Please double-check your shipping details and follow the care instructions included with your piece.

Why We Make What We Make

The sea is not a backdrop here.

It’s a place you move through, get tired in, get playful in, and return from: salty and happy.

Dry Dreams exists in that space between water and land — where a bikini becomes a top, leggings go for a swim, and a hoodie is as much about warmth as it is about memory.

Movement doesn’t always look like training.
Sometimes it looks like floating, walking home barefoot, stretching on the floor, or standing still and watching the horizon.

We design for all of that.

Sea Creatures, Patterns, and Play

Every Dry Dreams piece is illustrated — not as decoration, but as expression.

Fish, octopuses, merfolk, sea creatures, patterns that feel a little wild or slightly unhinged — they’re all part of a visual language inspired by the underwater world. A place that’s playful, strange, calm, chaotic, and never minimal.

Illustration lets us be:

  • fun without being loud
  • expressive without being precious
  • technical without feeling cold

It’s our way of bringing humor, softness, and personality into performance-driven pieces — because movement can be serious, but it doesn’t have to be boring.

    And After

    • drying off
    • layering up
    • staying out longer than planned

Our pieces are designed to shift roles easily — from swimwear to streetwear, from activewear to everyday comfort — without asking you to change outfits every time the day changes shape.

Made With Care

We produce most of our pieces on demand, meaning they’re made especially for you once you place an order.

This approach allows us to:

  • avoid overproduction
  • keep inventory light and intentional
  • work with thoughtfully chosen materials where possible

We don’t claim perfection.
We choose care, transparency, and slower processes instead of fast cycles and excess.

Some things take a little longer — and that’s part of the deal.

Dry Dreamer

Dry Dreams is a small, independently run brand created by someone who actually uses these pieces — in the water, on the mat, on the road, and at home.

And that's me, Fru. Hi.
I’m a freediver and instructor, a yoga enthusiast, a runner, a stretcher, an occasional gym rat — and a designer with a soft spot for fashion.

For a long time, I was looking for the things I wished existed: clothing that could keep up with an active lifestyle, feel good on the body, look good on the street, and still have personality. Sustainable where possible, illustrated, functional, and not afraid to be fun.

I didn’t want to choose between performance and expression.
Between sport and everyday life.
Between practicality and liking how I look.
So I made it happen.

The designs come from lived experience — from training sessions, dives, travels, heartbreaks, jokes, observations, and a deep affection for the sea and its creatures. From days that start in the water and end somewhere completely different.

This is not a costume.

It’s clothing shaped by real movement and real days.

If this feels like your world, take a look around.

Explore the pieces and wear them however your life moves.
